Start to finish, one sitting. Four hours, zero regrets. _ I love this kid and his parents.
Calvin & Hobbes was my favorite comic strip growing up, so seeing this is a great update. There are a lot of improvements on that comic — something I didn’t even think was possble until I saw them — and the creators did a great job bringing the “Boy and his X get into trouble” formula into the modern day.
And of course, Dad & Pop are amazing. :) You’ve got a fan, guys. Keep up the awesome work.
This particular strip is beautifully rendered. Love the dappled light and shadow under the trees! Can’t wait to see what comes next though - hint, hint. And hoping the “new” being run off to isn’t a whole different career or setting for the cartoonists. :)
They’ve been working on the new book and preparing for a convention, so they had to pause the comics briefly. If you like their work you can always support them at patreon.com.
I just love this comic strip! It just keeps getting better. I enjoyed AJ’s suspicion of his Aunt Roz and how it turned to a new friendship with their bonding via CosPlay.

We’re still stuck with this. What are you two doing, taking entrance exams?

Okay, have this comic series folded with them just running off?

Yeah, I’m ok with Roz now. I thought she seemed a bit mean at first, but eh, first impressions.
