Actually, let’s go with “Ping.”

“Pong” is not only a different game, the word itself means something rather unpleasant across the pond.

I’m more interested to learn what’s on Big Dan’s menu

Rather than hot dogs, Trout, perhaps Agnes could heist a couple of Don’s tasty burgers.

Bologna burgers??

I love Agnes’s perpetual hope.

Hope is such an insidious emotion. So easily subverted and a tenuous basis for anything. Better to have other stronger, clearer reason for it than hope.
