Did anyone actually do the Math on this? Does it work out? I think it’s a further tribute to the incompetence and obfuscation of the US Dept of Gravity & Quantification.

To further reduce fuel requirements, change the gravitational constant of the universe.
I think he meant reducing the mile to 3960 feet. If you increase it to 7920 (not 7290) feet, it would still be 20 miles per gallon.
This would be more humorous if not so true.
