It’s all a CONSPIRACY by the anti-tobacco people to get everyone to stop smoking!

As Tue Elung-Jensen said, by saying there’s no food, the people of endtown will resort to cannibalism based on their species. Then after the whole cannibal behavior comes to be common knowledge, they’llcome and say that “accepting your animal side” is a horrible idea.

Who ever is eating all that food is benefiting and they deserve to be sent up top for good. Kill on sight if seen.

The layout of Endtown is seeming more like a prison. Security is in the highest level, where it can keep an eye on the town and contain the residents if needed. All the good food is kept there, where it can be withheld from the people, as it seems to be now. Jackrabbit seems to be in control now without the council, but Walter seemed to be in control when he was mayor. Someone else is secretly in power, with control of the food and the news and the people. The obvious candidate would be Mallard, but he could be trying to uncover the conspiracy as well. Jackrabbit could ask the Oracle what’s going on, but it didn’t seem too fond of him when talking to Marx, even though it agreed Jackrabbit was needed for the greater good. That conversation also indicates Marx and the Oracle are opponents of the conspiracy.

If this world’s Duchess designed Endtown to be a prison instead of a refuge, then she may be involved with the conspiracy, but then her Marx would be as well.

It’s someone who wants to create-and then control-the market for pork bellies.

I love the look on the rat’s face. It’s just another day’s work for him or her. “It’s off to the daily grind.”

I think the rats we see have wives who stay home and don’t go to work because rats have such big litters.
