Yep! I work from home so I get dressed to take my son to school. I get home and get back into my PJs all day. Then I get dressed again to pick him up. Get home and crawl back into my PJs until the next day! It’s a beautiful life.
David Sedaris would talk about how his father would take of his pants when he got home and walk around in his underwear. He even answered the front door like that (“Sir, where are your pants?”)
I have more pajamas and nightgowns than I do clothes. I live in them if I don’t have to leave the house. Of course if I have to it’s shower, blow dry hair, make up and NEVER without my lipstick!!

Are you writing a book? If so, I recommend you leave that chapter out of it.

You betcha, and if I’m not leaving the house all day, I don’t bother to get dressed at all.

Being retired, I get up late. I never get back IN to my PJs, because sometimes I never get OUT of them! Particularly when nothing is on the agenda.

I’m retired. I walk around in my housecoat, sometimes with a smoking pipe. Hello Hugh Hefner!
