    Any dog owner can tell you, that it usually takes less than 5 seconds, for your pooch to scarf up any food dropped on the floor.

    5 second rule only applies to stuff that is wet and sticky. Dry stuff falls under the forever rule. Dry stuff that becomes wet and sticky comes under the never rule.
