When you said the strip was ending, I thought it was sad we wouldn’t be able to see the little one grow up, but you took care of that. Beautiful strip! Best of luck in the future. And I hope it goes as pictured.
Great strip that touched my heart. I’ve experienced the tag line more than once. My baby girl is 34 today, herself with a three week old daughter. My older daughter will be 36 soon with two daughters + one son. I just want to hold all of them a little longer.
Thank you, Dan. You will be missed around here, but it is great to see you are not letting that stop you from soaring even higher. All the best to you and your family.
It made me cry, comics can be like that. Fantastic! I saved this one. After you leave will you let us know what’s happening? I haven’t thought o check if you are on FaceBook, Thanks for the years!
… fantastic finish… though I didnt comment here often, I read Beardo every day. Dan, thanks for all of your good work. Good luck on everything in the future….
I thought comics were supposed to make me laugh. Not cry. Very true and touching. Thank you for Beardo, Dan. Many blessings to you and that precious family.
So true… I held my 24 month old extra long tonight because of your strip. I’m sad to see Beardo come to an end… so many good clippings (pun intended) to remember! Good luck in your new projects and years ahead.
I’m at the middle panel of the penultimate row – and, you know, it’s never really over (just don’t pass up any chance to share those “moments” like the school plays with them, because THOSE you can never get back). But even now my kids are still my kids; it’s just that somewhere around 16 they also turned into people, and became my equals and friends as well. And even my grandkids are growing up SO fast, but I get to do it all over again – even the nappies (diapers). Loving it.

This is one of the most amazing final comics I’ve ever read, I just wish I hadn’t waited until now to read through Beardo, this comic was amazing.
