Trout raises a good question, what is the demarcation between youth and adult? I say it is when you get your first full time job, and if you do lose it, you lose the job for reasons beyond your control, (downsizing, company relocating, etc.) If you lose your job over attendance issues, showing up to work impaired, you are not yet an adult, no matter what the calendar says.
