Seriously, this is a horrible finding. Portia’s freaking out. But at least it will signal a start to the authorities to start looking into the slaughter. Doc Chase will be there to prod any slackers.

Lovely. For once things in Endtown were exactly what they seemed to be…

The question now is, is it murder? I foresee a trial more serious than the Milk Trial or Hoss’s murder trial, to establish whether a person can consent to be food.

Portia already knows what’s going on. She’s been getting phone calls pressuring her to agree to be head cheese herself. Whatever compensation they offered wasn’t enough for her.

If someone made a contract to be butchered, of their free will, in post-End society, then there will be a case to establish whether it’s legal, just as there was to establish whether the Armin Meiwes cannibalism contract case in Germany was legal. It wasn’t, but in Endtown, after the Milk Trial that opened the door to using mutant products as food, the prohibition may not be so certain.

Any hope of further identification? Dental records? Does Endtown have a dentist?

Watch this somehow be part of the plot to subvert the goverment Endtown.
