Throughout history, very few people had the luxury of a job they loved. Rather, they did whatever would feed their family. That is the true love that work makes visible.
We have worked for 12,000 years to create a civilization in which people need only “work” at those things they love.
We now can make that a reality, but it will mean dethroning the ultra-wealthy who have absconded with most of the planetary resources to hoard for themselves—despite having no actual needs.
While many of these fortunes were made “legally” few were made ethically.
By and large, these people are bad citizens, who care only for their own power.
Many of those in the past and present who don’t have the “luxury” were and are slaves.

Feel sorry for the chef, but all grape stompers should wash their feet first!

Many more people now work jobs they really don’t like, but are desperate not to be homeless.

I have read three books written by Kahlil Gibran. A good book to start with is The Prophet. Jesus The Son Of Man is also very good.
