Well, that was then and this is now. AND this is Cagney!

Oh boy did he just step in it! When I was young and my Boston terrier got sick, my dad said “what’s the big deal, it’s just a dog.” Uh oh. Not a good thing to say to a near-hysterical 12-year-old who might be facing losing her best friend. I told him “well, you’re just a man; the world already has too many.” (which shocked everyone because I was usually well-behaved). When Dad said “but I’m more important!” My mother jumped in with “what gave you that idea?” Dad hasn’t said anything like that since.

On the other hand, for a family that is struggling, $6,000 is out of reach. Given that all of us die in time, the most appropriate course seems to be to make Cagney as comfortable as possible, give him whatever medicines/therapies are reasonably available, and be sympathetic to Zack. But every dog owner at some point has to learn how to say goodbye to their pet.

First: I will never purchase anything from b2cjersey.us

Second: Cagney is family there are pacemakers available free used, or slightly out of date, unusable for humans but with enough life left for a dog at least 5 years. I would get one for my Boston in a heartbeat, if that were her only problem. So she could live healthy and mostly pain free, there would be no question. If there is no hope, and pain I wish it was my option, to be put down painlessly.

I’m an animal lover and will go into a fit of rage if I hear people talk mean-spirit of animals.

I borrowed my dad’s rifle and took the little guy out back and robbed my neighbor.

I think I know how the story ends

“She never cried when Old Yeller died, do you think I’ll cry when she’s gone?”

Cagney is more than just a dog. All pets are.

Maybe they should try 1-800-pet-meds for a discount (not an ad)

Heck, I spent $3200 trying to keep a $1000 parrot alive, and it still wound up dying…I would still do the same for the next one…
