Renaissance Faire Lio's Discount Entrance $1.00
I would hate to land in an unpleasant place there at the fair… blacksmith’s fire pit for example or the jousting field’s manure pile
Catapults are easier to draw, I suppose, but a trebuchet would have been cooler!
It looks like you’ll be launched straight into the crossbar. I want to see someone else use it first.
(Parachutes not included.)
I would bet anything that Mr. Tatulli looked up the spelling of “renaissance” — just to be sure.
You don’t want to land on a jouster when his lance is pointed straight up to acknowledge the king and queen before the joust proper begins……….
what an entrepreneur!
As chance would have it, I spent about an hour today helping to set up a trebuchet for next weekend’s Renaissance faire in Wrightstown, PA.
We finally get to meet one of Dill Weederkin’s brothers!
At Cul de Sac today we saw Petey reading a Lio book. Now we see Lio with a trebuchet, probably manufacted by Dill’s infamous brothers!
—When favorite strips cross over, even if unwittingly!
Between this and scalping tickets that most football stadiums do, I think I would pick this.
