But it will probably behoove you to have lawyers handy to ensure you don’t violate some sort of statute, restraining order, libel laws, etc. But if you can offer it, you better believe it will sell. Especially if you offer a broken hearts section. Allow no family names, only first names.
On a related note, my favorite newspaper, the Fort Wayne, Indiana, “News-Sentinel” is going to online only after printing for 184 years. The blue paper boxes for Northeastern Indiana will be missed.
He’s right, though… During my early years with the daily newspaper, the Classifieds would take up two pages; three, on Fridays. Especially the “$100 or Less”. Seemed like everyone had something to sell. Nowadays, they don’t even take up a single column.
