If Andy is really so against Jason’s WoW addiction, I wonder why she pays the monthly subscription fee for him. Or the cable bill. I guess maybe Roger doesn’t agree with her and pays it, and she doesn’t feel strongly enough about it to fight with him. But she still expresses her eye-rolling displeasure at every opportunity. (Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s funny, and makes a lot of good jokes for the strip.)
Maybe this was before you had to pay a subscription fee. You bought it, then played as long as you wanted to. Of course, we all know that “World of Warquest” is a fictional game, don’t we? The name is a takeoff on other war games.
