“No returns, no refunds, no user-repairable parts. Keep fingers away from moving surfaces. May contain choking hazards for small children under 5, and anyone that tries to breath the air. Do not dry clean. Hand-wash only.”
The box Earth would have come in would have a volume of slightly less than 500 billion cubic miles. And Brewster finds a 8.5″ × 11″ piece of paper in all that.
Four billion? Even that number of humans is unsustainable without agriculture, industry, and a level of hunting that would drive some species to extinction. The paper probably said something more like 100 million.
With the rise of nationalism and its partner, authoritarianism, on the rise across the globe – even among nuclear armed nations – i think this overpopulation problem will take care of itself soon enough.

Is there any form of fuel that isn’t carbon based? Wood, vegetable oil, tallow, alcohol… those are all carbon based.
