Puck reminds me a lot of my late Malachi. He was a sweet boy with pure black fur who stayed with me when I was hurt or ill. We were together almost 18 years.
It is cute the cats are concerned about any change in the family. These things must be investigated to make sure they won’t impact negatively. BCN out.
Love Elvis’ indignation that Puck would question his knowledge and authority & his charts about people needing their tail! This one makes my top 5 fave list! My other top fave story lines are Tillie, the 1st & 2nd Christmas specials, Beatrix’s intro, the People bought a different kibble. Okay, top 6 list (you’re lucky i stopped, as I could go on forever). anyway, I’m wondering which ones would make it to your top 5 fave list?
Out of my current six furballs, three wouldn’t be able to share their tails with The Man. Angel has a stub (when she was born, we called her Stubby until she had her babies and realized that Stubby wasn’t as good as a name for a Mom as Angel would be), George has a nub, and Po has nothing. Smooth sailing from his back to his butt. Nothing was wrong with them. All have the Manx gene and all three are related, with Po being a few generations behind George and Angel.
Isn’t it wonderful how all the purrsonalities of the Boys complement each other? If they were human I’d imagine Puck as the caring nurse in a children’s ward. Lupin would have his own adventure show. Elvis would be the hard-boiled news editor with a secret heart of gold; a philanthropist incognito. Georgia simply took these traits from her real Boys & spun a beautiful ongoing story! Oh, Sis & I love them all! Hubby is beginning to get it, too!
When Natasha and Ash were still with me and things changed for me many years ago, whenever I cried, Natasha would be near me but that would be it. Ash would immediately come onto my lap and start to rub his face onto my face, trying to wipe away my tears.
Adorable! Congratulations, Georgia! The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) started running Breaking Cat News daily this past Monday. Hooray! I still prefer the online version, though.

I like the boys checking to see that they are still whole.

And following on yesterday’s comments about the laws of physics… Since when did cats care about laws of any kind except catkind?

Georgia: Is the second speech bubble in panel 3 coming from Puck? The location and direction of the pointy bit is ambiguous.

Lupin’s firm hold on his own tail in panel 4, just to make sure it’s still there :)

When I got rid of my tail four years ago, my back and my neck were cold for weeks.
