If you havn’t heard the Schultz home was burned down from the fire in California. This is a great loss of some of Sparky’s greatest hand drawn masterpieces and I am sure that we are all extremely heartbroken at this turn of events.
In one old strip, Lucy told Snoopy he had no right to be so happy. And in another, she shouted about floods, fire, famine, doom, defeat, and despair, yet Snoopy ignored her.

This was the kind of strip where Schulz revealed a lot about himself. We like to think that success brings happiness, but it’s no guarantee.
