Thank you for this. I have grown up in Florida and I see dramatic changes here, which I love. I understand others may not, Florida is unique to our states. Others probably feel that way about their state! =)
I grew up and went to college in Southern California, then moved away. When I returned for the first time after 20 years I realized that my visual memory had forgotten about palm trees.

Here in the South West, the leaves change, but the colors are duller.
