My grandmother used to say “Don’t put anything sharper than your elbow in your ear.” That was used to discourage the use of Q-tips as ear cleaners, which really isn’t a good idea. Licking your elbow seems pretty much the same thing: close enough to give it a shot, but obviously impossible. Nana’s Message: Don’t put Q-tips in your ear!
