I like how the ol’ cart is reminiscent of Pogo’s skiff – down to a quaint saying scrawled on the board.

Also, only GA could get away with the old trope of the kid (Rufus here) vowing to ‘run off and join the circus’.

i guess its joel and rufus now. Might as well stop calling it gasoline alley. We never see walt except a rare sunday strip and we never see skeezix. Even Slim is getting rare and hes a throw of sunday joke. always corkeys dinner or a fat joke… at least we have classic strips when they cared about this history and charictures
