Remember what Dana said about issues with the lifespans of Ozy and Llewellyn. “Don’t be morbid.”
The fact that Marigold remembers when a glacier covered Seattle implies she’s been alive since prehistoric times.
She’s probably encountered mammoths, ground sloths, and saber-toothed cats before.
I love the cinematography of this strip.
Princess Celestia has lived through history too…but wait! Who’s done it the most???
She was alive back when the weekday comics were in black and white.
So have I for the last 57 years (I’ll be 58 in December) and lived it all (with more to come).
Marigold must remember when holiday specials only aired once a year.
Marigold remembers when people had to watch television by candlelight!
Or remember when you had to read the comics in the newspaper, and the ones in color only came on Sundays.
That must have been horrible. Now you can just watch anything online whenever you want, because the Internet. Come to think of it, you can also download any game for free if you´re willing to search long enough.
Hey, I remember when we had to watch TV shows when they actually came on! Back in the days where there were no PVRs… or live streaming. :P
