I’ve found it’s a good rule of thumb to never assume you know everything there is to know about a subject—life will always find a way to prove you wrong eventually.
What if you’re a cartoonist, and you’ve studied really hard and you’ve worked really hard and you’ve drawn six really good panels? Where can you go from there? Can you just spend the rest of your career writing new dialogue for those same six panels, five days a week? Has that ever been done before?
