Mark: What do you know? More votes on pure principle! And we're back talking with congressional grand inquisitor Henry Hyde, about "The process". Congressman, looking back now, don't you have to admit that the impeachment process has more closely resembled a coup d'etat than a judicial proceeding? Henry Hyde: I admit nothing of the sort. This has never been about partisan politics! It's been about upholding the laws of this great country! With every vote, each of us on the G.O.P. side strove to be impeccably fair to the president. We individually grappled with our consciences, endured long nights of the soul, struggled with the issues... Mark: And then voted en masse against the president! Henry Hyde: Pure coincidence, Mark. Each of us was in his own private hell.
