Those old Victorian mansions usually were all hardwood floors. Lovely visually, but prone to echoing on a massive scale. Spent my childhood in one. Whispers could be heard in the next room in strategic spots. Add three poodles, six cats and two children. Probably much the same for the Big Pink House!

“Who said anything about panicking?” snapped Arthur. “This is still just the culture shock. You wait till I’ve settled down into the situation and found my bearings. Then I’ll start panicking.”

Absolutely love Lupin’s expression in the last panel, it’s perfect.

Georgia, I love the way you write plots incorporating Lupin’s deafness without mocking it. That’s actually surprisingly rare. And you avoid the “inspiration porn” approach to disability as well!

15 to 20 cats upstairs and a secretarial desk that weighs 6000-7000 pounds. This is a superlative apartment building!
