BC this week, to me, is very sad… “One day, advancement will threaten humanity’s soul it the press of a single button…” reminds me of automatic (bump starter) guns…
I live in Southern California and that’s what it’s like here today. The wind’s at about 36mph, and when I was walking the dog this morning a gust of wind blew off both my hat and sunglasses. I was able to follow and catch the hat, but I lost track of the glasses until we were on our way back and I saw where they’d landed.
I have mixed feelings about wind. In Spring and Summer, it’s all right, sometimes even pleasant. In Autumn and Winter, however, wind seems threatening and ominous, especially if the sky is cloudy and it’s not raining.

Of course, being a wingless bird with hairy feathers isn’t anything to brag about, either…….
