I am picturing Lily Tomlin’s character Edith Ann, the little girl in the HUGE rocking chair. She spoke with a very nasal twang, and concluded each narrative she told with “And that’s the truth.”
When you give your god all power “he” is then guilty of it all because he is responsible for it all. And the fall back of “free will” is negated by that all interfering power.
This doesn’t have to be about Trump. This illustration shows a self-perpetuating cycle that happens to children born into families where a child is neglected for the first two years of its life. All the panels in this illustration show a self perpetuating cycle simply because of those first two years. The neglect of those first two years show on brain scans comparing the child who was neglected with a child’s brain who was Will nurtured for the first two years. That neglected child will always make poor decisions, have a lower intellect, a lesser ability to solve problems, and probably never hold a job. Worst yet that child will grow up to have children that will be neglected in the same way, therefore perpetuating the cycle. This is a proven hypotheses. Now if Trump was a neglected rich kid, then of course, he faced the same self-defeating cycle. Since his parents couldn’t do anything for him or with him they sent him to military School at 13, ensuring he never learned social graces or empathy. But he did develop a hero worship of Military Officers.
Instead of the usual outrage Ruben provides, this filled me with a sadness. There is no god and the only justice and goodness in the world is brought about by us and we’re just not very good at it yet.

It’s almost as if “God” is as we suspect him to be.
