A 2% tip is chintzy in any world.

Any time my father in law who was in his 80’S picked up the check one of us would hang back to make the tip correct.

$17.50 was the correct amount to leave. That is 20% which is the correct amount.

My son owned a bar and he told me to NEVER stiff a waitress or bar tender. Any tip I leave is better than having to cook it at home!

My dad was terrible about tipping.
