We never give each other gifts because we normally travel for the holiday and that’s our gift to each other. THIS year, however, we were stuck home….we still agreed “no gifts”. But then he bought me a laptop behind my back (for use when we travel again). And the only thing I had to give in return was a free mask offered from our town.

I gave up years ago. I don’t anything for birthday, anniversary, Christmas, Valentines, no vacation offers.
