    It is a cognitive dissonance that seems increasingly common – it can’t possibly be hard for him like it is for her – because that would represent a reason why she can’t complain about him not doing the other thing. In some way, the real problem with this – it can’t do anything but degrade the person in your own mind. We see it happen across a bunch of different venues – and it really isn’t conducive to civility.

    What I’m getting here is that now that she’s finally found a job, even if it’s part-time, she’s choosing to spend the rest of her time complaining about having to work. She’s going from family member to family member to complain about it.
