Where are Zod, Non, and Ursa?
First, I think they need to call an electrician and install properly rated circuit breakers in their electrical panels.

I provided this idea, because a co-worker once did the very same thing. Happily, the results weren’t as dire. He just scorched the inside of the microwave with a bang and a flash, and the can burst from the expanded soda.
CERN just called and complained that your power overload caused a brownout that shut down their Supercollider.
