What a grump!

October comes in as a man, and goes out as a woman? How 21st century.

October was so nice here that I haven’t needed to rake yet.

(Which is going to be a big job in the five weeks left for collection.)

It’s going to get “real” when November tries getting past Nate.

I don’t like his attitude.

The first week of NOV will be 75-80°F, which is at least 10°F ABOVE normal….

I LOVE the changing of the months. Louie is taking it rather well this time, isn’t he?

Ah, most leaves are still on the trees, so raking in snow?October is a pretty classy dame.

I like the personification of the months. Makes things interesting. Also, October brought a LOT of hurricanes… glad that season is over.

I was pregnant the fall Gordon Lightfoot came out with “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”, a song that rolled like a ship in a bad sea, and I was sick as could be. Every morning the clock radio would come on and the Top 40 station would be playing “Wreck” and I would add sea-sickness to morning sickness. I still get queasy when I think of “…when the winds of November blow ear-ly…” Yep, the cartoon brought it back ( but not up, if you get my drift.)

Yeah—November here seems to have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Maybe he should just keep walking …
