Jeremy Cavendish: She sure is taking a lot of time in the powder room... I wonder if she gave me the slip! Lacey: I just think we're in a frightful mess with this Iraq unpleasantness, don't you, dear heart? Um...What's this note? Why are you passing me notes? (Lacey reading Jeremy's note): "Because you don't exist, Mrs. D - You passed away years ago! If people see me talking to nobody in public, they'll think I'm nuts!" Lacey: Oh, dear, well, we can't have that, can we? Don't worry, Jeremy, I can do all the talking. As I was saying, I think this business of going to war is dreadfully... What's this - another note? (Lacey reading): "Could we talk about me? I'm paying for lunch." Jeremy (writing): "I once built an extra room for you. Ask me about that."
