    It’s perfectly understandable. When he got to third, he was heading west toward the sun. Now two minutes later, the sun is on the east.

    From the first panel, from the way he’s facing, it sure looks like he’s ready to spring from second to third. If he’s on third, he’s looking at the catcher, not the pitcher. And that’s not a big lead at all (I’m being curmudgeonly today).
