Yes, and yes, although possibly not when this strip first ran. I’m told there are two Starbucks in Panama CIty, Panama, so certainly Scotland must have at last half a dozen.
Does Edinburgh have Starbucks? Probably. Almost everywhere does. But you’re missing out if you don’t try out the local fare when you travel. I just got back from Guadalajara, which now has a lot of Starbucks, McDonalds, and other American chain restaurants, but the local cafes are more interesting, more pleasant, and usually cheaper. Now I can say I’ve had an experience I wouldn’t have had at home.
