Nate is basically asking for the cops to come over, or an angry man coming out of the house holding a gun or baseball bat. Besides if they’re out of candy, why even bother them?

Nate, participation in handing out candy on Halloween is not compulsory, ergo not every household will hand out candy. Ringing the doorbell continuously and clamorously on a house that does not have their lights on is trespassing and whatever ensues is completely your liability.
