Around here they just cover the fields with shopping centers of stores that are losing money and business to online retailers. Some one check a level; this world seems out of plumb.
It’s a weird way of doing things. Towns and cities build up around farms, gradually paving over the land that was once considered “prime” for raising food crops. The farmers start over in a new area, and the process begins again. No wonder so many people complain how the fruits & vegetables just don’t taste as good as when they were young!
