Ah. It’s the twice yearly rearranging of the furniture by the husband to please the wife so that the furniture pretty much ends up right where it was before.
After a bit of this one day, I told my wife I’m done, you move the stuff and I’ll just deal with where you put it. Stuff stayed where it was and we have not done a single room together since. Oddly enough, it’s only the really light furniture that she moves on her own now.
I am strong enough to assemble, move or otherwise arrange things in a room the way I need to. Hubby can help or not if he wants. Mainly so I can clean – because frankly, with dogs and bunnies, fur gets everywhere. So I end up doing a serious clean every few months. And once in a blue moon (after several years) I move things. I might even paint. Hubby doesn’t care as long as he has somewhere to sleep and can sit at his computer. ;)
