I agree with Adiraiju…it’s JUST a comic!However, as both of these boys enjoy and are competitive about being the smartest people around, Jason would likely have picked “Iron Man” as his costume to match up against “Reed Richards” instead of “Superman”, whose super intelligence is almost never depicted, while Tony Stark’s genius is a major part of the character. Other choice: a torn white shirt and purple pants would make a “Bruce Banner/Hulk” costume.

My wife doesn’t let me “geek out” much anymore….just stretching my geek legs a bit, here.

Why do American cartoonists always depict people playing with Canadian footballs?

It may have been only one yard, but I’ll bet Jason and Marcus threw and caught the football way better than Peter ever did or could.

For a non-mashup, you could replace Mr. Fantastic with Plastic Man or Elongated Man.

Maybe to the vision of a mere mortal, but to them?..
