I don’t think so. We’ve seen maybe a couple dozen at most. They are a small mob, but an extremely paranoid and frightened one. Someone has worked very hard preparing this powder keg. The fuse was just lit and it’s VERY short. Stand by for general mayhem…
Unfortunately this is happening in the real world. Don’t like the way something turned out, refuse to accept it and try to get your way anyway you can. The beginning of Revolution and Anarchy.
I can’t help but wonder who is behind this. We know that Cooper has been working to plant food shortage stories in the Examiner, is his group behind the harvesting of mutant pigs or did they expect the stories to push others to start feeding off each other. Is it really some batman gambit to drive Jacob from power?
Speaking of Jacob, he seems to be more concerned with these food shortage stories than about the evidence that the disappearing citizens have been butchered. Is he just looking at this mess with the pigs and wolves as something he can’t be blamed for or is he complicit? Is the butchering of some of Endtown’s citizens one of the reason why the food situation is so rosy? It will be interesting to see where this is going.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that all this started because a basically good person with a ton of regret for some bad choices she’d made tried to make amends by baking a cake for a lonely old man. Cake>Milk Trial>Council downfall>Rise of Jacob>Rise of political opposition>fake food shortage>missing pigs>assumption of lupine involvement>civic unrest>death of Lou Pine>Hoss Trial>obvious verdict>??
Maybe there was no Trudy and the old man was an agent of “I” intending to start the chain reaction leading to this point. As soon as he found someone to make a cake, and set in motion the good intentions leading to this hell, he was gone.

What is it with Endtown? Do the wolves outnumber everybody else put together?

It’s not easy being an apex predator. When everyone else outnumbers you…

A determined killer can usually succeed if they don’t care about surviving. But a group? She doesn’t have a chance.

Maybe time to call in the rats, assuming any are left in the “home guard”.

According to Marx and the Oracle, Jacob has a destiny for the greater good. They weren’t happy about it.

No matter what it would not have ended well.

Whatever the outcome, we all know we are in for one heck of a ride. Thanks, Aaron, for a riveting story!

It’s all Trudy’s fault.
