Reminds me of Leonard Nimoy’s autograph line at my local bookstore years and years ago: He had 45 minutes between flights, and over 200 people in line.
Santa’s shock at the short clock Elf Sedine has placed on the kid is a hoot. The kid goes from tugging Santa’s jacket, to pleading his case, to dismay so profound as to lift his lid from his head. How rich!
I liked Santa’s willingness to admit he had not thought through his plan to meet women by playing Santa. He mostly meets the kids of married women, although the chance encounter with Ellie is bound to reap benefits down the road. Santa’s confession reminds me of when Sedine’s curiosity got the better of her, and she peeked into the Man Cave (formerly known as the Pamper Camper). She instantly acknowledged, “I made a mistake.” It was a great moment of shift in attitude. The same kind of self-awareness Santa revealed to his Lil’ Helper, Sedine.
I love this whole strip, starting with showing the watch, the panic look on the kids face and the shock on Santa’s. When Sedine yells time, Santa and the kid are in panic. It is amusing to see Sedine trying to give every a kid a chance at Santa, which is the bottom line. She is trying to streamline the process to help the kids.

“NFU”? Since when does the National Farmer’s Union make footballs?

Way to be on Santa’s naughty list, Sedine.

So I take it the old lady got arrested? That’ll be one thing both her and Sedine will have in common, a criminal record, for very idiotic reasons.

I overheard the manager ask him, “Can you do it?”
He smiled and nodded.
You never saw an autograph line move so fast.AnyFace almost 7 years ago

“Football? What’s a football? Oh, no, wake up, stupid! Wake up!”

Sedine clearly doesn’t crave that overtime pay. ;)

Question …
Does this arc wrap up on Christmas, or does it flow through the rest of 2017?

Probably from the watch and jewelry counter.

But taking your time is the fun part Sedine. Don’t destroy the kids’ visit

She didn’t bring that with her, so she obviously went at bought it while the old lady was being escorted out.
