Husbands realize how lucky they are at the oddest times… sometimes.

I know exactly how he feels.

Since he had to ask that after tapping her on the head, I think he meant getting over the feeling of wondering if she had died in the night. It’s an old person thing.

I wake up in the middle of the night some times and have those same thoughts even after 46 years.

We just had 45 years. I am so thankful that she is still there when she wakes me up and asks, “Are you ok?” What a Blessing she has been.Of course I sleep on top of her. She couldn’t get away. Well next to her.

Our health has taken some hits recently, so whichever of us wakes up first usually checks to see if the other one is still breathing. So far, so good.

not only has my husband done that to me, but I’ve done that to my husband. Like we’re going to get up out of the bed and leave the other??
