Somebody told a story about a guy being so mad he heaved his clubs into a pond and stormed off. A few minutes later he came walking back. His buddies figured he had come to his senses. The guy waded out an found his bag. He drug it to the shore and rifled through the bag finding his car keys. He then chucked the bag back into the pond.
I tried diligently for 20 years to learn how to play golf. All I managed in two decades was to lose balls, catch poison ivy, and have to kill the occasional snake. One day, in a fit of frustration, I did the same thing; chucked the bag into the lake and promptly took up 10-pin bowling. To this very day, I can honestly say that I have; a. never lost my ball in a bowling alley. b. never caught poison ivy in a bowling alley. c. Never had to kill a snake in a bowling alley. I’m sure there’s a moral in that, but I’ve yet to actually figure it out.
I love Mondays on GoComics. Most updates on Monday. Today, 396 updated, total comics 547. That’s 72.4%. My least favorite day is Sunday. Fewest updates. I don’t understand why the total of updates changes each day. Anybody know? — Donald
