I always wondered who was the first one to do this. I mean, someone must have said “Hmm, there is some stuff in my cat’s poop that wasn’t digested. I should maybe make a brew out of it, I wonder how it tastes.” Kind of the same with snails and clams.

    Raisin Juice becomes Raisin Jack.

You don’t want her drinking that either.

Amarone della Valpolicella, usually known as Amarone, is a typically rich Italian dry red wine made from the partially dried grapes of the Corvina.

I always tell my friends that I despise Diet Mountain Dew because it tastes like rat piss. Usually one of them will ask how I know what rat piss tastes like, to which I reply “Just like Diet Mountain Dew!”

There was a time prunes had a bit of a reputation. This was when I was young enough that I could not for the life of me figure out why old people felt such a deep need to be “regular” (as opposed to what? Premium?), but I could tell it sure was important and I also got the impression that the route there was through a big box o’ prunes. And that that was about all prunes were good for.

And then some wordsmith at Prunes, Inc. got smart and rebranded them as “dried plums,” and suddenly they were safe for all the world, all its ages, to eat again.

I wonder if they still sell prune juice. I suppose they do, so I wonder what they call it. Dried plum juice, or dried anything juice, just doesn’t sound practical.Frazz by Jef Mallett for Nov 10, 2017 | GoComics.com.

I did drink “prune juice” when I was younger and being regular is better than irregular when your bowel movements consistancy changed from near liquid to solid, hard, difficult to pass masses. Oh its very important. Altered my diet helped my making sure there is enough roughage in my meals.
