THERE’S the other shoe, Dottie. How will it feel when the wolves are at YOUR door?

I can’t say I’m surprised. It’s all about their little group. They’re the only ones who’ve suffered. Nobody else, just them.

So now what will Dottie do? She was played by the wolves, alienated some of her friends, rage-quit her job at The Examiner, and has been essentially forced out of her editor position at the newsletter/newspaper she wanted to create. We’ll see if she’ll now turn her energies toward undoing some of the mess she’s made.

“Zootopia in reverse”. It’s the minority predators that want to run things rather than the prey animals.

AgitProp? Must everything be reduced to an acronym? Like Alt Right? All of this seems to serve nothing but to obfuscate the obvious!

And I’m also thinking, isn’t this a bit early for Dottie to realize she was mistaken? The way she was a day earlier, it was not at all apparent that she would be able to see that she was being “played.”

Agitprop is a real word. Look it up in the dictionary.

Just what Endtown needs. A return to Unity.

Three Steps Over Japan: I believe you. Agitprop is a word. But really, is it necessary for us to continue using words that make us sound like we’re in an Aldous Huxley novel?

Indeed, is Aldous Huxley where Aaron plans to take us? (After the big race war, that is?)

The wolves are really, really asking for it…

A predator dreams of a world full of prey, where they can be picked off one at a time as needed.

A prey animal dreams of a world without predators, where none need fear the sudden disappearance, the scream, the silence.

Have the wolves not realized that even if they’re a large minority, their intended meals have just as much access to weapons as they do, and are all one threat away from going all Heather Hoss and grabbing a big rock? If there’s nothing to lose, the prey WILL charge the predator and trample it.

Dottie has been “riding the Tiger.” (Or in this case, the Wolf.)

Didn’t the Civil Rights movements happen in this world’s history? What about World War 2 and the history of Nazi Germany? How do the wolves not realize this is going to end badly for everyone in Endtown? The rationale behind this action is wholly ridiculous and even if they didn’t realize it on conception, how do they not realize that this response to their situation historically doesn’t work?

…and they seem to be doing just fine without her.

Makes we wonder, though… How many non-canines are buying The Daily Fang? I can’t imagine the wolves taking over if the wolves are the only ones reading that paper. They’ve become the new Ku Klux Klan.

Musing at 5:30 AM, waiting for the Monday strip to be posted… in panel 3 she mentions “wolf pride”. She’s a human being who mutated into the form of a wolf, not actually canis lupus. So at least one segment of Endtown’s population is choosing to identify more with what they look like instead of remembering their humanity. Riots in the streets and an inflammatory publication (“The Daily Fang”) to drive the wedge of division deeper. Echoes of the Unity colony, indeed.
