I’m gonna hate myself for being the one to say this, but while I LOVE to see depictions of knitting in various media (being a knitter myself), Mr. Marin has made an all-too-common error in illustration. Gabby is holding her needles upside down. The working ends should go upward in the middle, otherwise, her knitting would slide off! (Ducking for cover now.)

I always thought seeing Jesus standing, smiling, with his arms open in welcome would be so very much better. The guilt thing is archaic and morbid.
