Umm… I think BB’s been at the bourbon; this is the “strip” that was posted here five days ago.
She’s baaa-aaa-aaaack.
Encore presentation.
Funny, I was planning to come back when we got a new… or …um…
new-ish strip, because I had forgotten to post a link,
but I thought the whole subject would have changed and no one would remember….
Instead it started all over (unless, of course, this repeat is pulled and replaced by morning, and you don’t know what these comments are about.)
I may as well take this opportunity to re-post, for those who didn’t see it….
Mr Breathed has cleverly painted the Opus plush,
or perhaps even pasted an altered photo…
same with the liquor bottle and wall lettering…
onto a (likely) digital copy of a late 19th century painting called “An Old Grandmother Knitting”
by British artist Paul Knight, (1883-1904)
You can see the original here:

This is NOT a criticism… it’s a valid technique…
I just enjoy playing sleuth, finding and crediting the original.
I also posted that my friend StelBel does that sort of thing,
usually turning movies into funny vehicles for basset hound actors,
most Tuesdays and Thursdays on a Sherpa strip called Cleo and Company, by Nighthawks.
The other 5 days are done by Nighthawks or collaborations between them on animated strips.
I posted a link to read Cleo on Sherpa….

but forgot to post a link or directions to the comments.
Since there are no forums on Sherpa, we use the Ballard Street strip ten years to the day earlier.
ie today we’re at

A picture so nice, he posted it twice.
I still have my Opus Penguin Lust plushy.
Okay, okay! We breathlessly (get it?) await the new Opus plush!
Now, pour me some of that Old Hickory….
I don’t care what any of these butt wads say, I love it! And I am overjoyed to see it again.
