Animal, vegetable, or mineral? Seriously…After 8 months in the freezer some veggies process down into minerals….How ’bout some freshly thawed year old canned spinach?….Anyone?

Better to have old, unidentifiable stuff from the freezer than it is to have fuzzy stuff from the back of the refrigerator.

Too long in the freezer and things get “burnt” – not much better than moldy, frankly.

Reminds me of a dialogue from a movie:

Host: I have brown sandwiches and green sandwiches.

Guest: What are the green sandwiches?

Host: Either very new cheese or very old meat.

Guest: I’ll have the brown, please.

Oh good! Now it has a new shelf life and we can put it back in the freezer.

“Freezer burned” = “freeze dried.” Pity those poor outdoorsers paying good money for the stuff in the camping store!

I got tongue tied once when Hub asked what’s for dinner. I said… "I’ve been ‘cleazing out the freener’. YOU figure it out. What was even worse! He understood me!!!

Zip-lock bags. Take a Sharpie & write a description of the contents in the white space. Also write the date on it!
