those four words don’t sound comforting

yep, it is unfortunately the truth, the doc always says, “well, at your age…..”

My husband beats the Dr. to that line. He starts out with it before anything else.

Then he lists a carp load of tests and meds I should be taking. Had your flu shot? Yep. Once. 10 days later, I had the flu.

I remember when doctors were older than me…… now, they’re younger.

As Aunt Bee said “we’re not spring chickens anymore”!

I was sent to a back specialist once, he said, “Well, I found your problem….You’re getting old.” I liked that guy.

“Well, all your tests look fine. There’s just a couple of tests I’d like to run…”
