Immediately run it under warm water, turn it upside down and shake out all the excess water, put it in a warm spot to dry for 24 hours, and it should be good. I’ve even put one through the dishwasher once, taking it out before the dry cycle. I’ve been a computer consultant for 35 years, and have saved many a keyboard if you get it right away. Worst is coke. If you don’t rinse it immediately, it will eat the contacts.

Huh? What happened with the chili cook-off re-run?
Now we went into a completely different re-run storyline from a year earlier?

I have ruined keyboards with Windex, trying to clean them. Now I leave them dirty.

No worries; just turn it upside down, beat the s*** outta it on the desktop, and voila! You’ll get two or three of everything, though.

Better than the time I spilled my Nuclear coffee on the keyboard
Last I saw, it was running about 30 miles an hour and picking up speed

Affordable silicon keyboard protectors are available for a wide variety of computers from Amazon and eBay. Cheaper that a new keyboard.
