    It’s a shame this isn’t a real thing yet.

Guess I am not understanding why this office thing has been built up & dragged out on the storyline. Umm, I see nothing in this office that looks spectacular. Am I missing something?

Maybe you could ask your readers to make suggestions about what THEY would consider as spectacular in an office? (but keep it SORT of realistic – No Ferris wheels or Flume rides). Kind of futuristic maybe.

If you read about the offices of the powerful execs, the recurring theme is that they have big desks, great views and minimal clutter. I think we are seeing that carried out pretty well here, as the contractors understand Rita’s overwhelming ego (but lower rank on the exec ladder).

I do think the guys missed on one thing so far. The success of Siri and Alexa and so on indicates that an office with features that are activated by vocal command (as well as keyboard, touchpad, etc) is going to be in the future.

I could also see the controls laid out on a window accessible by voice command or keystroke on the computer.

And then there will be the drone to accompany Rita on her rounds in the office. It will relay her thoughts back to her computer for action. (With luck, Dana will be able to erase stuff.) Oh, and it can carry her water bottle for her…
